Shutdown Manager
Prism Connect is seeking an experienced Shutdown Manager for our client, a prominent Operator based in Aberdeen, United Kingdom. This pivotal role involves overseeing shutdown operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality compliance during all phases of the shutdown process. The Contract Shutdown Manager will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects on time and within budget, while effectively managing team dynamics and stakeholder expectations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background as a Shutdown Lead, demonstrating expertise in the industry and a proven track record of managing complex shutdowns for operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of shutdown projects including planning, execution, and evaluation.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations throughout the shutdown process.
- Work closely with various departments and teams to effectively manage resources and timelines.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize operational disruptions.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders regarding project status.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Shutdown Manager or Shutdown Lead in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
