The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing costs, preparing reports, and liaising with project teams to optimise financial efficiency. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to key projects within a private company environment with a close-knit team of 36-65 employees.
- Proven experience as a cost engineer, cost controller, or quantity surveyor in a relevant industry.
- Strong understanding of cost estimation, budgeting, and financial planning for renewables or oil & gas projects.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Ability to prepare detailed reports and present findings to key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools related to cost management.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of local regulations and standards relevant to the renewables or oil & gas industry in the UK is desirable.
